Preparing your Car for storage

• Wash and wax the exterior to protect the paintwork from contaminents
• Clean and Vacuum the interior to remove grit and grime
• Top up all fluids
• Change the Oil Filter and Oil. Old oil can become acidic and damage seals.
• Grease steering and suspension components
• Disconnect battery and take it home to trickle charge.
• Top up fuel tank and ideally add a fuel stabiliser to reduce room for condensation and fuel breaking down.
• Disengage the parking brake to ensure the brakes cannot seize. Use wheel chocks instead.
• Ideally use axle stands to reduce the load on tyres.
• Lastly, always check that your insurance is up to date and valid for your motorhome at all times wherever it is stored.
